Muqarnas translates the three-dimensional vaulting systems of Islamic architecture into wearable structures. In architecture, a muqarnas is built from hundreds of individual cells that form a complex, ornamental whole. This project adapts that principle on a human scale. By shifting the perspective from static building to the body, the pieces function as fragments of wearable architecture, capturing the weight and geometry of a monumental space.
